NYU Entrepneurial
Institute Brand

The NYU Entrepreneurial Institute’s
mission is to to help startups
by guiding students, professors, and
alumni across disciplines. The goal was
to make the Institute’s brand and
communication welcoming and inclusive to
all. The result included stripping away
all entrepreneurial jargon and replacing
it with plain and simple language.

After interviewing and observing
startup founders, students, and
business owners the Institute’s
main communication and supporting
material were revised.

All new material
focused on being
simple, inspiring,
and straight
to the point.

A jargon thesaurus was also
developed for NYU to utilize
internally when creating
any new communication.
